Former Congress President Kulbir Singh Chhabra said that satsang is not merely a religious gathering but a powerful medium to awaken the human soul. He was addressing devotees during a three-day Kabir Panth Satsang, discourse and Satvik Chowki Aarti programme organised at Mohad Ward No. 49 in Rajnandgaon.
Quoting the famous couplet, “Karta kare na kar sake, Guru kare so hoy, Saat deep nav khand mein Guru se bada na koy,” Chhabra highlighted the supreme importance of the Guru in human life. The spiritual programme was held under the divine blessings of Sadguru Kabir Saheb and the founder of the Dharmdas lineage mission, Pant Shri Huzur Navodit Udit Muni Saheb. The grand event featured musical Kabir Satsang, spiritual discourses and sacred rituals, conducted in the presence of Mahant Tulsidas Saheb and other saints.

While seeking blessings from Mahant Tulsidas Saheb, Chhabra said that the occasion was truly fortunate, as people got the opportunity to listen to the immortal teachings of Sant Shiromani Kabir Saheb. He noted that Kabir Saheb, through his powerful couplets, guided society to rise above superstition, discrimination and ego, and walk on the path of truth, love and equality.
He further stated that in the present times, when society is facing multiple challenges, Kabir Saheb’s message of harmony, compassion and truth has become even more relevant. “This satsang is not just a programme, but a means to awaken our inner consciousness,” he said, urging people to imbibe Kabir Saheb’s teachings in their daily lives and move forward on the path of humanity, kindness and love.
The sant samagam witnessed the presence of several prominent members of the Kabirpanth community, including Kanhaiyalal Sahu, former councillor Manish Sahu, Mahesh Sahu, Swatantradas Sahu, Uttam Sahu, Govind Sahu, Shaurya Vaishnav, along with a large number of devotees and social representatives.
