The ceremony, held at the Chairman’s chamber, was attended by prominent city officials. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma welcomed Verma by presenting him with a bouquet and extended their congratulations.

Additionally, members of the Mayor-in-Council and fellow corporators adorned Verma with garlands, expressing their support and well-wishes.

Chairman Verma Expresses Gratitude and Vision

During his address, Chairman Paras Verma expressed heartfelt thanks to Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, senior leaders of the organization, and the corporators who elected him.

"I am deeply grateful to Mayor Yadav, the party leadership, and my fellow corporators for entrusting me with this responsibility," said Verma. "Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, In-Charge Minister Vijay Sharma, and MP Santosh Pandey, we will work collaboratively to advance the city’s development and deliver government schemes to every citizen."

Verma also acknowledged his Ward No. 16 residents, thanking them for electing him with a decisive majority. He assured them of his commitment to fulfilling their expectations by prioritizing developmental projects in the ward.
