As part of the Kharif Marketing Year 2024-25, a total of 1,17,512 farmers in Rajnandgaon district have successfully registered on the Agristek Portal, covering nearly 94% of the district’s farmers.
Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure had earlier directed the revenue, agriculture, and cooperative departments to ensure large-scale farmer registration. Following his instructions, the agriculture department conducted the “Kisan Jodo Abhiyan” in mission mode to maximize participation.
Awareness campaigns were carried out through village visits, posters, and pamphlets, ensuring that even farmers in remote areas were informed about the registration process.

However, officials clarified that some registrations could not be completed due to technical issues. These included mismatches between revenue records and the Farmer Registry portal, pending entries after land transactions, and discrepancies in women farmers’ records where land documents listed the father’s name while Aadhaar carried the husband’s name. Authorities assured that these cases will be rectified soon.
Last year, 1,25,610 farmers sold paddy in the district. With 1,17,512 farmers already registered this year, officials expressed confidence that the remaining farmers would also be brought under the portal once technical corrections are complete.
