The Agriculture Department in Rajnandgaon is conducting an intensive door-to-door outreach campaign to ensure that all eligible farmers benefit from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. The initiative focuses on completing essential formalities such as e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding, land seeding, and Agristack registration to facilitate the annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 to farmers.
Deputy Director Agriculture Tikam Singh Thakur stated that the 23rd installment of PM-Kisan is proposed to be released by the end of February or in the first week of March. So far, e-KYC of 108,449 farmers in the district has been completed, while land seeding has been completed for 108,944 farmers and Aadhaar seeding for 108,021 farmers.
Following the implementation of the Agristack project by the Government of India, all farmers registered on the PM-Kisan portal are required to complete Agristack registration to generate Farm ID and Farmer ID. Farmers can complete this process independently or through Lok Seva Kendras.

The department has urged farmers with pending or suspected cases to complete physical verification through nearby Lok Seva Centres, Rural Agricultural Extension Officers, or Krishak Sangwaris. Pending issues can be resolved on the PM-Kisan website through the Farmer Corner option under “Update Missing Information.” Farmers are also advised to contact their respective banks to ensure Aadhaar-based payment systems (DBT) are enabled in their accounts to receive the upcoming installment without delay.
Officials emphasized that completing Agristack registration is mandatory for eligible beneficiaries to continue receiving financial assistance under the scheme. The Agriculture Department has appealed to all eligible farmers to complete the required procedures promptly to avail benefits of the upcoming installment.
