To ensure easy access to government documents and facilitate timely corrections in official records, the state government has established the Chhattisgarh e-District portal, popularly known as Public Service Centres (Lok Seva Kendra). At present, nine such centres are operational across Rajnandgaon district.
These centres are functioning at the District Office (Collectorate), Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation, Tehsil Office Rajnandgaon, Tehsil Office Dongargaon, Janpad Panchayat Dongargaon, Tehsil Office Chhuria, Tehsil Office Dongargarh, Tehsil Office Ghumka, and Tehsil Office Lalbahadur Nagar.

Under the Public Service Guarantee Act, a total of 76 services are being provided through these centres. Key services include issuance of caste, domicile and income certificates, marriage registration, shop and establishment registration, trade licences, all types of pension services, property mutation in urban areas, water connection applications, Right to Information services, and land-use related information. Each service has a clearly defined time limit to ensure transparency and accountability.

During the financial year 2025–26, from April 2025 till date, 1,37,080 applications have been received through the district’s Public Service Centres, out of which 1,23,064 applications have already been resolved. Beneficiaries include 21,053 citizens from Dongargaon, 18,419 from Dongargarh, 12,456 from Kumarda, 9,790 from Ghumka, 9,826 from Lalbahadur Nagar, and 30,422 from Rajnandgaon, reflecting widespread public utilisation of the service delivery system.
The initiative continues to play a crucial role in strengthening citizen-centric governance and improving access to essential government services at the local level.
