Mayor honors three distinguished personalities of Sanskardhani recognized by the Vice President during Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav 2025

Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, along with his team, visited the residence of senior advocate Khemchand Jain at Kamathi Line to extend his greetings and honor him for being awarded the prestigious Barrister Thakur Chedilal Samman by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan. The Mayor felicitated him with a bouquet and warmly acknowledged his exceptional contributions in the legal field.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Yadav described Advocate Khemchand Jain as a “distinguished and unforgettable name in the legal fraternity of Sanskardhani” and praised his dedicated service, integrity, and influence in guiding the legal community over the years. The Mayor and his team also met the family members of Advocate Jain and conveyed their congratulatory wishes.
Also present during the courtesy visit were Municipal Council Chairperson Paras Verma, Councillors Varsha Sharad Sinha, Priyanka Pankaj Kuranjekar, Amrita Mohan Sinha, Ranu Jain, former councillors Sharad Sinha, Vijay Rai, Nadan Sen, Kisoon Yadu, BJP leader from Balod Abhishek Shukla, and others.

In addition to this, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav extended congratulations via telephone to Educationist & Engineer Neeraj Bajpai, who received the Danveer Bhamashah Samman, and to Chhattisgarh’s first International Female Weightlifter Gyaneshwari Yadav, who was honored with the Gundadhur Samman.
It is noteworthy that all three eminent personalities of Rajnandgaon — Advocate Khemchand Jain, Engineer Neeraj Bajpai, and international weightlifter Gyaneshwari Yadav — were felicitated during Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav 2025 in Rajnandgaon on November 5, in the gracious presence of the Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Governor Ramesh Deka, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and other distinguished guests.
