Jain monk Shreyanshprabh Sagar Ji, a disciple of Khartargachchhadhipati Maniprabhsagar Ji, has urged people not to fear defeat but to learn from every setback and continue striving for success. He emphasised the importance of remaining willing to learn, understanding the value of time and making its best possible use.

The message was delivered during the ongoing Chaturmas sermons at the Gyan Vallabh Upashray Bhavan in Jain Bageecha, Rajnandgaon.

Great Achievements Are Built on Struggle

According to media in-charge Vimal Hajra, Muni Shri Shreyanshprabh Sagar Ji said that behind every great personality lies a story of struggle.

He explained that some people possess everything and give something to others, while others have very little but still choose to give. Such individuals, he said, are truly exceptional because they teach, encourage and impart knowledge to others through their actions.

Face Adversity and Learn from Every Situation

Muni Shri Shreyanshprabh Sagar Ji stressed that people should learn to face circumstances rather than become discouraged by difficulties. It is up to each individual to decide whether to learn from challenging situations or simply adapt to them.

He encouraged people to confront adverse circumstances with determination and courage, emphasising that setbacks should become opportunities for learning and personal growth.

He also reminded the audience that human life is temporary and that everyone eventually departs from this world. Therefore, people should strive to accomplish something meaningful during their lifetime so that they continue to be remembered even after they are gone.

Citing Alfred Nobel as an Example

Referring to Alfred Nobel, whose name is associated with the Nobel Prize, the Jain monk highlighted the importance of leaving behind a lasting legacy.

He said that one’s conduct should be such that others consider them a role model and find inspiration in their actions. Before expecting others to learn from them, individuals should first learn from their own lives and experiences.

Muni Shri Shreyanshprabh Sagar Ji also emphasised the importance of treating others in the same manner in which one expects to be treated.

His message underscored the values of perseverance, self-improvement, responsible conduct and making a meaningful contribution to society.
