Kiran Dev Re-Elected as BJP State President, Announces Vinod Tawde

Elected National Council members — Vishnu Dev Sai, Arun Saw, Vijay Sharma, Saroj Pandey, Lata Usendi, Tokhan Sahu, Brijmohan Agrawal, Vikram Usendi, Santosh Pandey, Vijay Baghel, Punnulal Mohile, Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, Rupkumari Choudhary, Khubchand Parakh, Nanki Ram Kanwar, and Devendra Raja Pratap Singh.

These members will cast their votes in the upcoming National President election.

Raipur: Kiran Singh Dev has been elected as the new State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chhattisgarh. The announcement was made by BJP’s National General Secretary and State Election In-Charge, Vinod Tawde, during a grand event held at Kushabhau Thakre Complex, the state office, on Friday. Amidst a massive gathering of central and state office bearers, ministers, MPs, MLAs, and party workers, Shri Tawde officially declared Shri Dev as the Chhattisgarh State President for the upcoming term. He honored him with a floral garland on behalf of National President Jagat Prakash Nadda.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, State In-Charge Nitin Nabin, Observer Gajendra Patel, former Governor Ramesh Bais, Deputy CM Arun Saw, Vijay Sharma, Regional Organization General Secretary Ajay Jamwal, and Organization General Secretary Pawan Sai congratulated Shri Dev and extended their best wishes. Several leaders, including State General Secretaries Sanjay Srivastava, Jagdish (Ramu) Rohra, Bharatlal Verma, Ramji Bharti, Raipur City BJP President Ramesh Thakur, and Raipur Rural District President Shyam Narang, welcomed Shri Dev with garlands.

During the event, Shri Tawde also announced the names of 17 members for the National Council, including Vishnu Dev Sai, Arun Saw, Vijay Sharma, Saroj Pandey, Lata Usendi, Tokhan Sahu, Brijmohan Agrawal, Vikram Usendi, Santosh Pandey, Vijay Baghel, Punnulal Mohile, Dayaldas Baghel, Kedar Kashyap, Rupkumari Choudhary, Khubchand Parakh, Nanki Ram Kanwar, and Devendra Raja Pratap Singh. These members will cast their votes in the upcoming National President election.

Chhattisgarh BJP Now an Impregnable Fortress: Parakh
Organization Election In-Charge Khubchand Parakh highlighted the achievements of the membership drive conducted during the organizational elections. He stated that the target of enrolling 60 lakh members was achieved, with 71,000 active members registered across the state. Elections were successfully held in 23,400 out of 24,219 booths, and the number of mandals increased from 405 to 479 post-delimitation. Of these, 416 mandals have been formed. The state has elected presidents and representatives for all 36 organizational districts. Shri Parakh emphasized that this success was possible due to the hard work of all office bearers, workers, and public representatives, making the Chhattisgarh BJP an unassailable stronghold.

Timely Completion of Election Process Enhanced Chhattisgarh’s Prestige: Patel
Central Election Observer and MP from Madhya Pradesh, Gajendra Singh Patel, commended the timely completion of the organizational elections. He appreciated the harmonious coordination seen during the process and praised the formation of booth and mandal units even in the remote areas of Bastar. Patel remarked that the organized and timely process has enhanced the prestige of Chhattisgarh.

Achieved Goals Through Perseverance: Dev
In his inaugural speech, newly elected BJP State President Kiran Singh Dev expressed gratitude to the leadership and workers for their efforts. He acknowledged the successful completion of events such as the Lok Sabha elections, Raipur South by-election, membership drives, and the organizational elections for booths and district units during his previous tenure. He attributed the party’s success to the dedication of its workers and emphasized the need for similar efforts in the upcoming urban body and three-tier panchayat elections. He urged the workers to ensure BJP’s victory from the grassroots to the parliamentary level, reaffirming the party’s motto of being a “Party with a Difference.”

Dev concluded by expressing gratitude to the national and state leadership and called upon party workers to continue their support for the upcoming term.
