In alignment with the ongoing Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival), a health-focused Samadhan Shivir (public grievance redressal camp) was organized at Vicharpur Navagaon under the guidance of District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure. The camp saw participation from the district health department, with a total of 130 individuals receiving medical checkups.

The health team conducted blood pressure screenings for 110 individuals, blood sugar tests for 98, and hemoglobin tests for over 90 villagers. In addition, 20 individuals received eye examinations, while 14 underwent sickle cell screening. On-the-spot services included the issuance of Ayushman health cards for three eligible beneficiaries.

Led by Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Netram Navratan, the event featured block-level medical teams and paramedical staff who provided in-depth information about various government health schemes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Department of Public Health and Family Welfare to increase awareness and improve access to healthcare services at the grassroots level.

Dr. Navratan highlighted that 94% of eligible residents in the district have already received their Ayushman Bharat cards, and work is ongoing to cover the remaining 6%. The issuance of Ayushman Vay Vandana cards for senior citizens aged 70 and above is also being actively pursued.

Residents without health cards were encouraged to attend upcoming Samadhan Shivirs to get their cards made and avail themselves of free medical checkups and guidance. The camp is part of a structured initiative to resolve public grievances efficiently and extend health benefits to underserved rural populations.
