On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the city of Rajnandgaon witnessed a remarkable blend of devotion, discipline, and cultural harmony as a grand religious procession was organized by the Sarv Gujarati Samaj. The magnificent procession turned into the center of attraction across the city, drawing large participation from devotees and citizens belonging to different communities.
The procession received a grand and respectful welcome at Manav Mandir Chowk, where members of the Hindu Jagran Manch greeted participants with a shower of flowers, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere. The event stood out for its peaceful and disciplined conduct, emphasizing devotion and cultural values rather than aggressive slogans or displays.
Beautiful tableaux depicting Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lord Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman captivated onlookers throughout the procession. Devotional songs and bhajans filled the streets with spiritual energy as devotees moved through various parts of the city in a well-organized manner.
Renowned devotional singer Chandresh Jain enhanced the spiritual environment with soulful bhajan performances, adding to the devotional fervor of the celebration. Women, youth, children, and members of various social groups participated enthusiastically, dressed in traditional attire. Cultural dance performances by women and glimpses of tribal folk traditions further enriched the procession, showcasing the region’s cultural diversity.
At Manav Mandir Chowk, office bearers and members of the women’s wing of Hindu Jagran Manch welcomed the procession with floral showers, turning the entire area into a celebration of faith and unity.

Senior BJP leader Abhishek Singh remained actively present throughout the procession, becoming a major attraction of the event. He interacted with citizens, extended Ram Navami greetings, and participated in public outreach during the celebration.
Among other prominent attendees were Suresh H. Lal, social worker Sundar Bhai, Devisharan Sen, and BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, whose presence added significance to the event.
A large number of city residents, representatives of different communities, youth groups, women, and children joined the procession, reflecting strong public participation. The event concluded peacefully and in an orderly manner, with administrative arrangements ensuring smooth movement and security.
