The “Khairagarh Festival 2025” began with great splendour and cultural vibrancy at the Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh. Member of Parliament from Rajnandgaon, Santosh Pandey, inaugurated the festival by lighting the ceremonial lamp along with Pandariya MLA Mrs. Bhawna Bohra. Former Khairagarh MLA Mr. Komal Janghel was also prominently present during the occasion.

Addressing the audience, the dignitaries said that Khairagarh has long been a cradle of art and culture, and such grand festivals provide the younger generation with creative inspiration and a platform to showcase talent. They congratulated the university administration and the Department of Culture for organizing the festival successfully.

The festival witnessed exceptional performances by artists from Chhattisgarh, various parts of India, and several countries abroad. The campus came alive with simultaneous presentations of folk, classical, instrumental and contemporary art forms. Dance, music, theatre and tribal cultural performances captivated the audience throughout the evening.

Art Gallery Attracts Enthusiasts
The art gallery set up on the university premises showcased paintings, sculptures and creative artworks by both emerging and established artists. Visitors appreciated the diversity of styles and the thematic richness displayed in the gallery.

The event was graced by district-level public representatives, senior citizens, faculty members, students, and a large number of art lovers who added to the grandeur of the festival.
