Over 500 patients receive treatment; 128 children administered Swarnaprashan under AYUSH initiatives

The AYUSH Department organised a block-level free AYUSH medical camp at Kolihapuri village in Dongargarh development block with the objective of extending accessible healthcare services to rural residents. Medical services were provided under Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and the National AYUSH Mission, including the NPCDCS scheme.
A total of 518 patients availed treatment at the camp. Among them, 62 patients underwent screening for blood pressure and diabetes and were given necessary dietary and lifestyle-related health counselling. Participants were also educated about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of non-communicable diseases, along with the importance of yoga, pranayama, daily routine (Dinacharya), seasonal regimen (Ritucharya), and Swarnaprashan.

Free medicines were distributed to patients as per medical requirements. A special highlight of the camp was the successful administration of Swarnaprashan to 128 children, aimed at boosting immunity and overall health.
Village Sarpanch Shri Madan Devangan was specially present on the occasion. The camp witnessed the participation of Ayurveda Medical Officers Dr. Harsh Sahu, Dr. Shobi Khan, Dr. Vandana Dakha; Homeopathy Medical Officer Dr. Alok Kalchuri; AYUSH Physician Dr. Anmol Gupta; Yoga Therapist Dr. Sneha Deshmukh, along with Shri Sanjay Singh, Shri Alakh Ram, Gayatri Mishra, Shri Somkant, Shri Bhojraj, Radha Ahirwar, other public representatives, dignitaries, and a large number of villagers.
