Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. organized a free Anemia Detection and “FE Pathshala” camp with the slogan “Know Iron, Fight Anemia” for the first time in Chhattisgarh at PM Shri Raja Sarveshwardas Excellence Higher Secondary School, Rajnandgaon.

Hundreds of students enthusiastically participated in the camp and underwent blood tests. Considering the current lifestyle and imbalanced diet that often lead to iron deficiency, the company distributed Dexorange syrup — rich in Iron, Folic Acid, and Vitamin B12 — free of cost. The supplement aims to enhance hemoglobin levels and improve blood quality among the students.
The event was graced by eminent city doctors Dr. Tarachand Soni and Dr. Amrita Bhadouria, along with School Management Committee Chairman Kamlesh Suryavanshi, Principal Pankaj Shukla, and the entire school staff, who actively contributed to the successful organization of the camp.

Importance of Anemia Detection among Schoolgirls:
Anemia, particularly iron-deficiency anemia, is a serious health issue widely prevalent among adolescent girls in India. It causes fatigue, weakness, poor concentration, and negatively impacts school attendance and learning outcomes. In the long run, it can weaken the immune system and lead to pregnancy-related complications.
Early detection through simple tests such as Hemoglobin (Hb) and Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW), followed by proper interventions like iron supplementation and nutritional improvement, can effectively control anemia. This not only enhances students’ health and educational performance but also supports gender equality and women’s empowerment.
