Four students from the Agricultural College, Rajnandgaon, affiliated with Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, have been selected to participate in the National Youth Festival being held in New Delhi. The students will take part in the prestigious “Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue”, an initiative aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.

The selected students—Kashish Preet, Runjhun More, Pratyusha Das and Anjali Bharti—from Pandit Shiv Kumar Shastri Agricultural College will represent their college and university on a national platform. Their selection reflects their leadership abilities, creative thinking, social commitment and cultural competence, and is considered a matter of pride for the institution.
Notably, out of 75 youths selected from Chhattisgarh, 45 were chosen through the Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue process, following a rigorous multi-dimensional evaluation at both state and national levels.

To honour the selected youth representing Chhattisgarh at the National Youth Festival, a grand send-off ceremony has been organised on January 6 at 5:30 pm at the Chief Minister’s Residence in Raipur. The event will be attended by the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other distinguished guests. During the ceremony, selected participants will receive guidance and interact with dignitaries, followed by a formal dinner. All participants will depart for New Delhi on January 7.
During the youth festival in New Delhi, participants will get the opportunity to present their ideas before the Prime Minister. The programme will also include dialogue sessions under the guidance of eminent personalities and a dinner interaction with the Prime Minister, providing an inspiring platform for young leaders to contribute to the nation’s future roadmap.
