Education and Unity Drive Lasting Progress
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Raman Singh said that the true progress of any community is built on education, organisation and social unity. He stated that when a community goes beyond organising social events and invests in hostels, educational infrastructure and other facilities for future generations, it moves towards a new era of development.

He described the newly constructed District Nishad Kewat Community Hostel, built at a cost of nearly ₹35 lakh, as a significant achievement for the community. Congratulating members of the Nishad community, he said the hostel would be utilised for the education of girl students, providing them with better educational opportunities and opening new avenues for academic advancement.
Dr. Singh said the community has made a meaningful contribution to promoting girls’ education. Referring to the historical legacy of the Nishad community, he said the bond between Nishadraj and Lord Shri Ram during the Ramayana period remains an enduring example of social harmony and equality. He added that from the Vedic era to the present day, the Nishad community has played an important role in strengthening the country’s social, cultural and national unity.
He further said that the stronger the organisation of the community, the brighter the future of its youth and coming generations would be. He encouraged members of the community to move forward in education, social leadership and every sphere of development.
MP Santosh Pandey Highlights Community’s Cultural Legacy
Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey said that the Nishad community has been instrumental in preserving India’s cultural traditions and that its unity and organisational strength remain its greatest assets.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured appropriate representation for the Nishad community and other sections of society and has prioritised their interests by establishing a dedicated ministry for the development of sectors such as fisheries.
The MP added that the objective of any community should not merely be to attain positions of authority but to progress collectively by carrying every section of society forward. He said Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh have consistently played a leading role in the development of the Nishad community.
