Officials and employees directed to mark timely attendance as Aadhaar-enabled biometric system goes live across the district

Collector Jitendra Yadav on Wednesday chaired a meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to review the implementation of the Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance system for district offices. The Collector informed that nodal officers have already been appointed in subordinate offices for onboarding under the e-Office system.
He stated that the Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance system has been formally implemented in all subordinate offices from today. The nodal officers appointed for the e-Office system will also function as nodal officers for the biometric attendance system. All officials were instructed to continuously practice and familiarize themselves with the system.

The Collector emphasized that officials should understand technical aspects such as location authentication, mobile application installation, daily attendance marking, and task verification. Proper use of the system, he said, will enhance accountability, transparency, discipline, and credibility in government functioning.
Collector Yadav issued clear instructions to all officers and employees posted at the Collectorate to mark their attendance on time through the Aadhaar-enabled biometric system. Training on the new system was also provided during the meeting to ensure smooth adoption.
Additional Collector C.L. Markandey, Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, and other district-level officers were present on the occasion.
