Emphasis on Timely Loan Distribution Under Government Schemes
Expresses Displeasure Over Delay by Bankers; Issues Strict Instructions for Improvement

Collector Jitendra Yadav chaired the meeting of the District-Level Coordination Committee and District Advisory Committee at the Collectorate today. During the review, he stressed the need for maximum loan distribution to beneficiaries under various government schemes aimed at improving the livelihoods of the general public.
The Collector said that people start their businesses and micro-enterprises by availing loans under these schemes; therefore, their applications must be processed with sensitivity and priority.
Collector Expresses Displeasure Over Pending PMEGP Cases
During the review of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), the Collector expressed dissatisfaction over a large number of pending cases and directed bankers to take interest and expedite loan approvals immediately.
He said that significant schemes like PMEGP bring a positive change in the lives of citizens, and any delay defeats the purpose of the program.
Slow Progress in PMSFME and PM SVANidhi Also Reviewed
The Collector instructed bankers to promptly approve loans under the Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PM–SFME) to encourage small entrepreneurs.
He also noted the slow progress under the PM SVANidhi Scheme and directed officials to bring visible improvement within one week.
Focus on Providing Loans to Women Self-Help Groups
The Collector emphasized that under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), women self-help groups must be provided loans to start various livelihood-based activities.
CEO, District Panchayat Ms. Suruchi Singh, also stressed encouraging women entrepreneurs through timely bank linkages and discussed reasons for rejection of their applications.

The Collector reviewed progress under the following government schemes and directed bankers to accelerate implementation:
- Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Scheme
- Other loan-linked schemes
He further instructed officials to ensure result-oriented progress and improve the pace of work across all departments.
