Meanwhile, under the Siyan Jatan Clinic scheme, special healthcare services are being provided to senior citizens across the district. Every Thursday, citizens aged 60 years and above receive free treatment at seven AYUSH dispensaries — four Ayurveda and three Homeopathy centres.
These services cover ailments such as arthritis, gastric disorders, hypertension, diabetes, and other geriatric health conditions. Dr. Soni informed that 4,277 senior citizens have benefited under the scheme to date.

Both initiatives have not only delivered effective treatment but have also helped build trust and awareness regarding AYUSH therapies. The department aims to provide quality healthcare to the last person in the district, contributing to the creation of a healthier and more informed society.
