Directs timely disposal of revenue cases; orders immediate correction of land records within a day of passing orders

Jitendra Yadav, the Collector of Rajnandgaon, conducted a surprise inspection of the Naib Tehsildar Office in Tumdibod on Monday and directed officials to ensure speedy disposal of revenue cases within the prescribed time limit.
During the inspection, the Collector reviewed several pending revenue cases registered in the tehsil office and instructed the Naib Tehsildar to ensure that all cases are resolved promptly in accordance with government guidelines and timelines.

Yadav also examined previously decided cases and reviewed records available on the state government’s digital platforms, including the e-Court Portal and Bhuiyan Portal, where land-related cases are registered and monitored online.
While reviewing the cases, the Collector spoke directly with concerned patwaris over the phone and instructed them to ensure that corrections in revenue records are made within one day after an official order is passed. He emphasized that prompt updating of land records is essential to avoid inconvenience to citizens.
The Collector further directed the Naib Tehsildar to ensure that patwari reports are submitted on time so that cases can be disposed of as per rules and within the stipulated time frame. He also instructed officials to complete all pending demarcation cases that have exceeded their time limits within the next two days.

During the visit, Yadav interacted with villagers present at the office and listened to their grievances. He instructed concerned officials to take immediate action on their applications and ensure prompt resolution of their problems.
Deputy Collector Vishwas Kumar was also present during the inspection.
