Collector Conducts Surprise Inspection at Ghumka Tehsil Office

Reviews Farmer Services, Directs Time-Bound Disposal of Revenue Cases and Sets Up Help Desk for Grievance Redressal

The Collector of Rajnandgaon, Mr. Jitendra Yadav, paid a surprise visit to the Ghumka Tehsil Office today, taking stock of the ongoing public service operations and reviewing the functioning of the revenue department. His sudden inspection aimed at ensuring timely and transparent delivery of services to farmers and citizens.

During the visit, the Collector interacted with farmers present at the tehsil premises and sought feedback on the services being provided to them. He instructed the Tehsildar, staff members, and the Choice Centre personnel to ensure speedy resolution of applications and revenue-related cases within the prescribed time frame.

The Collector emphasized that no citizen or farmer should face any inconvenience while visiting government offices. In reference to the upcoming procurement season, he stated that paddy procurement will commence from November 15, and accordingly, officers should address any farmer-related issues promptly.

To streamline operations and strengthen grievance monitoring, the Collector directed the Tehsildar to establish a Help Desk at the tehsil office. This desk will assist in tracking applications and resolving issues efficiently. He also gathered feedback from villagers regarding the functioning and responsiveness of Patwaris, and instructed Patwaris to resolve land and revenue matters of their respective areas within deadlines.

Tehsildar Mr. Mukesh Thakur, CEO Janpad Panchayat Mr. Manish Sahu, and other officials accompanied the inspection.
