Push for Land Acquisition in Bizetla, Timely Single-Window Clearances to Accelerate Industrial Growth

District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure chaired a meeting of the District Investment Promotion Committee at the Collectorate hall under the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Industrial Investment Promotion Act, 2002. He directed officials to expedite the resolution of pending cases related to industrial development in the district.
Emphasizing the importance of efficiency, Dr. Bhure instructed that all documents and processes under the Single Window system must be completed within the stipulated timeframe to ensure smooth progress of industrial projects.
Land Acquisition for Space Manufacturing Cluster
Highlighting a major upcoming project, the Collector announced that a Space Manufacturing Cluster will be set up in Bizetla village under the Department of Space, Government of India. He instructed officials to expedite the acquisition of both government and private land through mutual consent. Directions were also issued to ensure the timely provision of basic infrastructure including roads, electricity, and drinking water by coordinating with all concerned departments.

During the meeting, discussions were also held on the implementation of schemes such as the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme, and the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, alongside efforts to promote industrial investments in the district.
Departmental Coordination
General Manager of the District Trade and Industry Centre, Mr. Sanu V. Varghese, gave a detailed briefing on the structure, formation, and responsibilities of the District Investment Promotion Committee.
The meeting was attended by District Panchayat CEO Ms. Suruchi Singh, Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department Mr. Mukesh Sahu, Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning, Deputy Director of Agriculture Mr. Tikam Singh Thakur, Deputy Director of Mines Mr. Bharat Banjare, along with officials from the Public Works Department, Forest Department, and other trade and industry offices.
