Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on Wednesday extended a warm invitation to South Korean investors, highlighting the state’s readiness for global industrial partnerships. Addressing the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect programme organized in Seoul under the aegis of the Korea International Trade Association, the Chief Minister emphasized that the state’s proactive and growth-oriented Industrial Policy 2024–30, abundant natural resources, skilled human capital, and robust connectivity make it an ideal investment destination.

“South Korean brands are already household names in India – from LG and Samsung to Hyundai. These companies have penetrated deep into Indian villages, and now we want to welcome similar partnerships in Chhattisgarh,” CM Sai said, underlining the state’s vast reserves of water, power, iron ore, and steel, as well as its rapidly improving infrastructure.
He assured investors that the state government will provide complete support through single-window clearances, ease-of-doing-business measures, and industry-friendly policies. “Chhattisgarh is opening its doors to global investors in sectors such as minerals, energy, steel, food processing, electronics manufacturing, and IT-startups,” he added.
The Chief Minister also underscored that Chhattisgarh’s growth model goes beyond industrial progress. “Our focus is equally on creating employment for youth, empowering women, and ensuring farmers receive fair value for their produce. Industrial investment must go hand in hand with social empowerment,” he said.
During his visit, CM Sai held discussions with Indian Ambassador to South Korea Amit Kumar at the Indian Embassy in Seoul. The talks revolved around opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas ranging from steel and minerals to electronics and food processing.

Emphasizing the cultural and business ties between South Korea and Chhattisgarh, CM Sai stated that such collaborations would accelerate technology transfer, research and innovation, and generate high-value employment opportunities. “We urge South Korean investors to choose Chhattisgarh as their next industrial destination and be partners in this journey of shared prosperity,” he said.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by senior officials of the state’s industries department and representatives of investment promotion agencies.
