Leaders and senior officials join in extending warm wishes for the former CM’s long and healthy life

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai visited the Speaker’s residence in Rajnandgaon today to personally extend birthday greetings to Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. Marking the occasion with warmth and respect, the Chief Minister presented a floral bouquet to Dr. Singh and wished him a long, healthy, and prosperous life dedicated to public service.
On the occasion, CM Sai praised Dr. Raman Singh’s enduring contribution to Chhattisgarh’s progress and governance, highlighting his leadership as a guiding force in shaping the state’s modern identity. The Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the government and the people of Chhattisgarh, emphasizing Dr. Singh’s role in advancing welfare, infrastructure, and rural development initiatives across the state.

A large number of ministers, legislators, and dignitaries joined the Chief Minister in extending their greetings. Among those present were Cabinet Ministers Ramvichar Netam, Dayal Das Baghel, Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Lakshmi Rajwade, and Tankaram Verma; MLAs Dharamlal Kaushik (Bilha) and Rajesh Munat (Raipur West); Mayor Madhusudan Yadav; Zila Panchayat Chairperson Kiran Vaishnav; District Cooperative Bank President Sachin Baghel; and Vice Chairperson Kiran Sahu.
Also in attendance were former MP Abhishek Singh, local leaders including Komal Singh Rajput, Ramesh Patel, Santosh Agrawal, Saurabh Kothari, Khubchand Parakh, Sumeet Upadhyay, and Suresh H. Lal; as well as senior administrative officials — Divisional Commissioner Satyanarayan Rathore, IG Abhishek Shandilya, Collector Jitendra Yadav, SP Mohit Garg, CEO Zila Panchayat Suruchi Singh, and SDM Dongargarh M. Bhargav.
The gathering reflected the deep respect and admiration for Dr. Raman Singh’s decades-long service in public life — as an MP, Union Minister, three-term Chief Minister, and now as Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly.
