Women and Youth Wings also restructured as charitable organization aims to expand healthcare and social service initiatives

The renowned charitable service organization Udayachal has announced its newly constituted executive committee for the 2026–27 session, appointing senior social worker Brijkishore Surjan as President. The reorganization also includes fresh leadership for the women’s and youth wings, a move seen as an important step toward strengthening the institution’s expanding social service activities.
The announcement was made during the general body meeting held on Sunday in the presence of senior patron members Chaturbhuj Thakkar, Uttamchand Jain, and Padma Shri awardee ophthalmologist Dr. Pukhraj Bafna. Members welcomed the newly elected team with applause and extended their best wishes for the upcoming tenure.
Key Positions in the Main Executive
Brijkishore Surjan has been entrusted with the dual responsibility of President and Building Construction In-charge. Atul Raicha has been appointed Secretary, while Ashok Modi will continue as Treasurer.
Other prominent appointments include:
- Vinod Raicha – Vice President
Harish Agrawal – Joint Secretary- Prakash Shreeshreemaal – Joint Treasurer
Dr. Pukhraj Bafna – Eye Hospital In-charge- Prabhat Kotadia – Building Management In-charge
Vinod Daddha – Administration In-charge- Gautam Bafna – Youth Organization Coordinator
Gurdeep Singh Bagga – Information & Publications In-charge
Separate coordinators have also been assigned to oversee various service projects such as medical services, physiotherapy, homeopathy, health camps, mobile medical van operations, food management, solar energy systems, and vehicle maintenance.
Women and Youth Wings Reorganized
The Women’s Wing will be led by Sadhana Khandelwal as President, with Shashi Agrawal as Secretary and Kanchan Dakaliya as Treasurer.
In the Youth Wing, Akshay Raicha has been appointed President, along with Arpan Kothari as Vice President, Samyak Bafna as Secretary, and Prayas Shreeshreemaal as Treasurer.

Focus on Social Service Expansion
Office bearers expressed confidence that the newly formed leadership team will further expand Udayachal’s flagship eye-care services and other humanitarian initiatives, ensuring improved healthcare and welfare support for underprivileged communities.
Notably, Brijkishore Surjan is also a senior functionary of the All World Gayatri Pariwar and serves as President of Gayatri Vidya Mandir, a well-known institution rooted in Sanatan cultural traditions. He has remained actively involved in various social, cultural, and religious activities across the city and district.
The organization expects the new executive committee to bring renewed energy, organizational unity, and expanded outreach in the coming session.
