In a heartwarming turn of events, iconic Bollywood actor Dharmendra, fondly known as the ‘He-Man’ of Indian cinema, has been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital today. The 89-year-old superstar, who was admitted earlier this month for breathlessness and placed under close medical supervision, is now stable and will continue his recovery at home, as confirmed by his treating doctor and family statements.
Dr. Pratit Samdani from Breach Candy Hospital shared that Dharmendra was released around 7:30 AM, with the family opting for home-based treatment. “He has gone home with full satisfaction, and everything has been arranged for his comfort,” the doctor told reporters, emphasizing the actor’s stable condition and requesting prayers for his speedy recovery.

The Deol family issued an official statement expressing gratitude: “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
This positive news comes after days of concern, including false rumors about his health that were swiftly debunked by family members like Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and Sunny Deol. Celebrities such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Govinda visited the hospital to show support, highlighting Dharmendra’s enduring legacy in the industry.
