As per the directions of Collector Jitendra Yadav, Additional Collectors C.L. Marankdey and Prem Prakash Sharma on Tuesday listened to public grievances during the Jan Darshan programme organised at the Collectorate under Good Governance Week. People from various parts of the district presented their complaints and issues, which were heard with prompt attention.
The Additional Collectors instructed concerned departmental officials to ensure priority-based disposal of all applications received during the programme. Emphasising citizen-centric governance, they directed officials to resolve grievances in accordance with rules and to extend benefits of various government schemes to eligible applicants.

A wide range of applications were received at the Jan Darshan, including requests for benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Aadhaar card updates and corrections, land demarcation, rectification of online records, issuance of new ration cards and access to other welfare schemes.
The programme was attended by Municipal Corporation Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma along with other district officials.
