Under the approved plan, a state-of-the-art synthetic athletic track will be constructed at Navagaon at a cost of ₹9 crore, paving the way for improved training and competition facilities for athletes. Welcoming the development, the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party expressed gratitude to Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and the Vishnu Deo Sai-led State Government. District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput said that the replacement of the astro turf will significantly enhance facilities for hockey players and help young athletes prepare better for competitive events.
