The city woke up to high-voltage action on Wednesday morning as teams from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and the State Anti-Corruption Bureau carried out simultaneous raids at the premises of prominent local business groups. The operation began around 5:30 AM, targeting the offices and residences of Radha Krishna Agency and Lalit Bhansali, located in the central commercial zone near Kamthi Line.
According to sources, both firms are known suppliers of general items to various government departments, and the investigation is reportedly linked to procurement and supply transactions under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund.

As the teams arrived, the areas around the properties were sealed off, restricting any movement in or out of the premises. Officials began a thorough examination of financial documents and digital records.
No official statement has yet been issued by either the EOW or the Anti-Corruption Bureau. However, local business circles are abuzz with speculation, suggesting that the action may be tied to recent allegations of irregularities in government supply contracts and suspicious financial transactions.
Additional police personnel were deployed to maintain order during the operation. The raids have sparked widespread discussion among business owners and traders across the city.
