Initiative held under Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, Poshan Maah and Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda Abhiyan with free health check-ups and yoga sessions

A special program was organized at the Government Ayush Polyclinic, Deendayal Nagar, Chikhli, Rajnandgaon under the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, Poshan Maah, and Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda Abhiyan. The event aimed at raising awareness about women’s health, nutrition, and the role of Ayurveda in daily life.

District Ayush Officer Dr. Shilpa Mishra outlined the objectives of the campaigns, highlighting state-run initiatives focused on women’s health and welfare. She also administered the pledge for the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan. Ayurveda Medical Officer Dr. Pragya Saxena sensitized women about common health challenges during adolescence, pregnancy, and menopause, while also introducing Ayurvedic remedies such as Shatavari, Turmeric, Aloe Vera, Aparajita, Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Dashmool Kwath, Fenugreek, and Sesame.
As part of the program, free health check-ups for women were conducted, along with a health quiz session. Lifestyle Ayurveda Physician Dr. Anand Singh Bhardwaj discussed seasonal dietary habits, medicinal plants, and daily health routines recommended in Ayurveda. Yoga Therapist Dr. Bharti Yadav guided participants on micro-exercises, pranayama, and yoga postures beneficial for women’s health. Nursing Sister Smt. Hemlata Bada demonstrated yoga and exercises, Pharmacist Smt. Anusuya Sahu distributed medicines, while Smt. Beena Yadav served Ayurvedic kadha.

The event blended awareness, preventive healthcare, and practical demonstrations, encouraging women to integrate Ayurveda and healthy lifestyle practices for family and community well-being.
