Focus on Infrastructure, Sanitation, and Scheme Implementation; PWD Directed to Arrange Furniture in New Government Buildings

In a move to assess public service readiness and infrastructure conditions, Rajnandgaon Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure paid a surprise visit to various departments and facilities under Ghumka Tehsil on July 25, 2025. His inspection tour included the tehsil office, Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School, the local Nagar Panchayat, and the Community Health Center (CHC).
At the Ghumka Tehsil Office, the Collector reviewed ongoing administrative work and inspected the newly constructed building, directing the Public Works Department (PWD) to promptly arrange furniture and basic infrastructure to enable full-scale functioning.
During his visit to the Community Health Center, Dr. Bhure reviewed the status of institutional deliveries, the Matri Vandana Yojana, and other ongoing state healthcare initiatives. He also stressed the importance of cleanliness within hospital premises, instructing officials to ensure hygienic conditions for patients and staff.

For the Nagar Panchayat Ghumka, the Collector considered proposals under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) including:
- Construction of a new Anganwadi building
- Pipeline and borewell excavation
- Procurement of a tractor for civic purposes
In the Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Dr. Bhure instructed education officials to arrange new furniture to support an improved learning environment.
Accompanying the Collector were SDM Rajnandgaon Mr. Khemalal Verma, Tehsildar of Ghumka, and other senior administrative officials.
