Collector Jitendra Yadav chaired a comprehensive review meeting of ongoing infrastructure projects in Rajnandgaon district, directing construction agencies and contractors to ensure quality execution and complete roads, bridges, culverts, and building projects within stipulated timelines. He warned of strict action against negligence in road construction works and emphasized the importance of strengthening connectivity to accelerate development.

The Public Works Department has approved ₹708.21 crore for constructing 15 four-lane roads across several districts, covering a total length of 90.5 km. The project aims to ease traffic congestion, enhance road safety, reduce travel time, and accelerate regional economic development.

Villagers from 40–50 villages in Rajnandgaon have appealed to the Collector, demanding construction of a 1.3 km road that has remained incomplete for nearly two decades. Residents warn of large-scale protest if the issue continues to be ignored.

Madhya Pradesh marked Engineers’ Day 2025 with the announcement of a state-of-the-art Engineering Research and Training Institute in Bhopal. Alongside honoring engineers and contractors, the state launched innovative tools like the Public Works Survey App and Project Management System to modernize infrastructure development and boost efficiency.

District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted an unannounced inspection of key government facilities in Ghumka, including the tehsil office, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Nagar Panchayat, and the Community Health Center. He reviewed ongoing work, issued directives for furniture installation in new buildings, and assessed the progress of welfare schemes like Matri Vandana Yojana and institutional deliveries.
