Chhattisgarh Tourism to Shine on Global Stage at India International Travel Mart in Bengaluru

Tourism Board Chairperson Neelu Sharma to Showcase Eco-Tourism, Tribal Culture and Water Destinations at Prestigious Event

Chhattisgarh will take center stage at the prestigious India International Travel Mart (IITM) in Bengaluru this week, as the state aims to highlight its rich tourism potential on a global platform. Scheduled from July 24 to 26, the three-day travel expo at Tripura Vasini Palace Grounds will feature participation from over 600 exhibitors, including representatives from 15 countries and 20 Indian states.

Neelu Sharma, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, will attend the event and lead the state’s delegation. She will present Chhattisgarh’s unique offerings including its pristine natural destinations, tribal culture, and emerging water tourism avenues.

“This is a significant opportunity to position Chhattisgarh as a sustainable and eco-tourism hub in the international tourism circuit,” Sharma stated ahead of her visit.

The state’s participation aims to attract both domestic and international travelers by showcasing unexplored destinations, environmentally conscious tourism models, and the cultural vibrancy of Chhattisgarh’s indigenous communities. With the rising global interest in sustainable travel, Chhattisgarh’s booth is expected to draw considerable attention at the mart.
