In a proactive step to bring administrative services closer to the people, the Rajnandgaon district administration has been organizing revenue camps across all tehsil offices. The objective is to address public grievances related to land and revenue services efficiently and without delay.
As part of this initiative, a revenue camp was held at the Kumarda tehsil office, where Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure made a surprise visit to assess the on-ground operations. During his interaction with citizens, the Collector listened attentively to their issues and directed revenue officials to resolve cases within a specified timeframe. He emphasized the need for prompt and sensitive handling of public concerns, particularly those related to land records, mutation, partition, demarcation, and issuance of income, caste, and domicile certificates.

Dr. Bhure underscored the importance of such camps in delivering result-oriented services to the public. He stated that the presence of the entire revenue staff at a single location allows for faster and clearer resolution of cases, enhancing public satisfaction and administrative transparency.
The camp recorded a total of 225 applications, out of which 115 were resolved on the spot. These included:
- 26 cases of land mutation (naamantaran)
- 10 partition (batwara) cases
