Under the state-wide “Mor Duar, Sahay Sarkar” mega campaign, District Panchayat President Smt. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav attended a special survey fortnight program held at Pathandhorgi village in the Khujpangi assembly constituency. The event focused on identifying eligible beneficiaries under the Awas Plus 2.0 initiative to ensure housing benefits reach every deserving family.

Speaking at the event, Smt. Vaishnav stated, “This campaign is not merely a government scheme but a symbol of trust that no Chhattisgarhiya will be left to live under a thatched roof. Through Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY), lakhs of families have seen their dream of owning a permanent home come true. The ‘Mor Duar, Sahay Sarkar’ campaign, driven by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, aims to carry this vision forward with determination and dignity.”

The campaign, launched on the directives of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is conducting a fresh survey across the state from April 15 to 30. Its goal is to identify eligible rural families left out of the Permanent Waiting List and Awas Plus List under PMAY-Gramin, ensuring they too receive access to secure, permanent housing.

“This is more than just a roof over one’s head. It is about restoring the dignity and self-reliance of our rural poor. This initiative reflects the strong governance of Vishnu Sai and the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide every family a concrete roof,” added Vaishnav.

During the event, surveys for two individuals were conducted, and Bhoomi Pujan (foundation ceremony) for a PMAY house for beneficiary Kishori Sen was performed by Smt. Vaishnav. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and village leaders.

Prominent attendees included Janpad member Balamukund Mandavi, Sarpanch Bisru Chandravanshi, former Sarpanch Mahesh Chandravanshi, Manoj Nishad, Shankar Patel, Milan Chandravanshi, Manik Panch, Pyare Panch, Smt. Lalita Bai, Ganga Bai, Himrat Bai, and Punai Bai, among others.
