A high-level review meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Collector Jitendra Yadav to ensure smooth arrangements for the upcoming Chaitra Navratri fair beginning March 19, 2026, at Maa Bamleshwari Temple in Dongargarh. The meeting focused on facilities for devotees and padayatris, as well as law and order preparedness.

The Collector emphasized that lakhs of devotees from distant places visit the revered temple during Navratri and that all arrangements must reflect service spirit and administrative coordination. He directed officials to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply, adequate drinking water facilities, proper sanitation in the temple premises and stairways, and systematic crowd management.

Special instructions were issued to the Health Department to maintain sufficient stock of ORS solutions, essential medicines, and first-aid materials, considering the likelihood of foot injuries and dehydration among padayatris. Doctors and paramedical staff will be deployed at both the upper and lower temple premises. A dedicated control room will also be established to monitor the entire fair management.
