Farmers cultivating pulses and oilseed crops in Rajnandgaon district can now register to sell their produce under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) being implemented as part of the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA). The registration process is currently underway through the Integrated Farmer Portal and the e-Samriddhi portal.

Under the scheme, farmers who cultivated tur (pigeon pea), moong, urad, groundnut, and soybean during the Kharif Marketing Season 2025-26, as well as gram (chana), lentil (masoor), and mustard during the Rabi Marketing Season 2026-27, are eligible for registration. To facilitate procurement operations, 15 primary agricultural cooperative society procurement centres and one Farmer Producer Organization—Swarn Upaj Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited, Sukuldaihan—have been notified in the district. These centres include Ghumka, Padumtara, Somni, Chhuriya, Kumarda, Gaindatola, Gahirabhedi, Dongargaon, Tumdibod, Kokpur, Khursipar, Dongargarh Achholi, Musra, Mohara, and Lal Bahadur Nagar.

The State Government is procuring pulses and oilseed crops through National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). The MSP has been fixed at ₹5,328 per quintal for soybean, ₹8,000 per quintal for tur, ₹5,875 per quintal for gram, ₹7,000 per quintal for lentil, and ₹6,200 per quintal for mustard.

Farmers can complete registration by submitting application forms along with required documents—including loan booklet, B-1, P-2 land records, Aadhaar card, and bank passbook copies—through their local Rural Agricultural Extension Officers at the respective cooperative societies.

Deputy Director Agriculture Tikam Singh Thakur stated that the online registration through the Integrated Farmer Portal and NAFED-operated e-Samriddhi portal will ensure transparent procurement and direct payment of MSP to farmers’ bank accounts. He added that the initiative will play an important role in expanding pulse and oilseed cultivation and increasing farmers’ income in the district.

Officials emphasized that the scheme offers farmers an assured price mechanism and financial security, encouraging diversification into pulses and oilseed crops while strengthening agricultural sustainability.
