आरटीई प्रवेश में भारी गिरावट का दावा: पिछले वर्षों के आंकड़ों के मुकाबले इस बार आधे से भी कम सीटें

निजी विद्यालयों में आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग के बच्चों को प्रवेश देने वाली आरटीई योजना को लेकर जिले में विवाद गहराता जा रहा है। छत्तीसगढ़ पालक संघ, राजनांदगांव के अध्यक्ष क्रिस्टोफर पाल ने वर्षवार आंकड़े जारी करते हुए आरोप लगाया है कि इस बार पात्र बच्चों के साथ बड़ा अन्याय हो रहा है और प्रवेश संख्या में असामान्य गिरावट लाई गई है।

पालक संघ के मुताबिक पूर्व वर्षों में लगातार हजारों बच्चों को निजी स्कूलों में प्रवेश दिया जाता रहा, लेकिन इस वर्ष प्रवेश संख्या अचानक बहुत कम कर दी गई है।

पालक संघ का आरोप
अध्यक्ष क्रिस्टोफर पाल ने कहा —
“पिछले वर्षों में 40 से 55 हजार तक बच्चों को प्रवेश मिलता रहा है, लेकिन इस बार संख्या घटाकर करीब 19 हजार कर दी गई है। यह सीधे-सीधे गरीब बच्चों के शिक्षा अधिकार पर असर डालने वाला निर्णय है।”
उनका कहना है कि योजना का उद्देश्य वंचित बच्चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराना है, लेकिन सीटें कम होने से बड़ी संख्या में पात्र बच्चे बाहर रह जाएंगे।

पालकों में चिंता, पारदर्शिता की मांग
पालक संघ ने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि —
प्रवेश संख्या घटाने का आधार सार्वजनिक किया जाए
पात्र बच्चों की वास्तविक संख्या घोषित हो
पिछले वर्षों के औसत के अनुसार सीटें तय की जाएं

संघ का कहना है कि मजदूर और निम्न आय वर्ग के परिवारों के बच्चों के लिए आरटीई ही निजी विद्यालय में पढ़ने का प्रमुख अवसर है, इसलिए इस प्रकार की कमी पालकों में असंतोष बढ़ा रही है।

शिक्षा विभाग की प्रतिक्रिया प्रतीक्षित
मामले में शिक्षा विभाग की ओर से आधिकारिक स्पष्टीकरण अभी सामने नहीं आया है। पालक संघ ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि स्थिति स्पष्ट नहीं हुई तो वे जनप्रतिनिधियों और शासन स्तर तक मामला उठाएंगे।
