राहुल गांधी की ब्रिटिश नागरिकता — रायबरेली स्पेशल कोर्ट ने याचिका स्वीकार की

रविवार, 3 दिसंबर 2025 को, रायबरेली की एक स्पेशल एमपी/एमएलए मजिस्ट्रेट कोर्ट ने S Vignesh Shishir की तरफ से दायर एक याचिका स्वीकार की, जिसमें राहुल गांधी पर आरोप लगाए गए हैं कि उनके पास ब्रिटेन और भारत — दोनों की नागरिकता (दोहरी नागरिकता) है।

याचिका में यह दावा किया गया है कि राहुल गांधी के पास कई फर्जी पासपोर्ट हैं, और उन्होंने नेता विपक्ष रहते हुए “शत्रु देश को भारत की गोपनीय सूचनाएं” दी हैं। इसके साथ ही “बेनामी कंपनियों” के जरिये ब्रिटेन में संपत्ति या पंजीकरण का भी आरोप है।

कोर्ट ने रायबरेली पुलिस से अब तक की जांच का विस्तृत “स्टेटस रिपोर्ट” पेश करने का आदेश दिया है। अगली सुनवाई 5 दिसंबर 2025 तय की गई है। इसके आधार पर तय होगा कि FIR दर्ज होगी या समन जारी होगा।

⚖️ पृष्ठभूमि: मामला क्या है — विवाद, जांच और कोर्ट के आदेश

यह याचिका वही है जो S Vignesh Shishir ने पहले भी दायर की थी — उन्होंने 2024 में दावा किया था कि राहुल गांधी उस समय ब्रिटिश नागरिक थे जब वे ब्रिटेन की कंपनी में निदेशक थे। उस आधार पर उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने गलत जानकारी देकर चुनाव लड़ा था।

इस मामले की समीक्षा करते हुए, 2025 में Allahabad High Court (लखनऊ बेंच) ने केंद्र सरकार से यह पूछने को कहा कि ब्रिटिश नागरिकता के दावे की पुष्टि हो सके। उस दौरान गृह मंत्रालय ने ब्रिटिश सरकार से जानकारी मांगी थी।

5 मई 2025 को, उक्त HC ने याचिका खारिज कर दी थी — यह तर्क देते हुए कि सरकार समय-सीमा नहीं दे पा रही है। कोर्ट ने याचिकाकर्ता को अन्य विधिक रास्ते अपनाने की अनुमति दी थी।

इसके बाद याचिकाकर्ता ने नए सबूत प्रस्तुत करते हुए पुनरावलोकन याचिका दायर की — जिसके कारण मामला पुनर्जीवित हुआ। दावा है कि ब्रिटिश सरकार ने अपनी नागरिकता जानकारी भारत को भेजी थी।

🔍 अगले कदम — अब आगे क्या होगा

कोर्ट ने पुलिस से विस्तृत रिपोर्ट मांगी है — इस रिपोर्ट के आधार पर ही FIR दर्ज होगी या अन्य कानूनी कार्रवाई होगी। अगली सुनवाई 5 दिसम्बर 2025 है।

अगर यह साबित हुआ कि राहुल गांधी के पास ब्रिटिश पासपोर्ट या नागरिकता है, तो यह मामला भारतीय चुनाव और नागरिकता कानून (जिन्हें दोहरी नागरिकता की अनुमति नहीं) के लिए संवेदनशील हो जाएगा।

दूसरी ओर, अगर जांच में साबित हुआ कि कोई फर्जी पासपोर्ट या नागरिकता नहीं है, तो यह आरोप खारिज हो सकता है — लेकिन अभी स्थिति स्पष्ट नहीं है।

🧑‍💼 सामाजिक-राजनीतिक परिप्रेक्ष्य: ये मामला क्यों महत्वपूर्ण

यह मामला राष्ट्रीय राजनीति में संवेदनशील है क्योंकि जिस व्यक्ति पर आरोप लगे हैं, वह वर्तमान में लोकसभा में नेता विपक्ष है।

यदि उनके खिलाफ FIR और आगे की कार्रवाई होती है, तो यह चुनावी पात्रता, नेतृत्व की विश्वसनीयता, और कांग्रेस की छवि दोनों पर असर कर सकता है।

दूसरी ओर, इस तरह के आरोपों की वैधता और साक्ष्यों की विश्वसनीयता भी एक लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया के लिए बड़ी अहमियत रखती है — इसलिए निष्पक्ष, पारदर्शी और समयबद्ध जांच की मांग बढ़ जाएगी।
