Officials directed to ensure priority resolution of applications and extend benefits of government schemes to eligible citizens

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of District Panchayat Suruchi Singh sensitively heard grievances and complaints of citizens during the weekly public hearing (Jandarshan) held at the Collectorate in Rajnandgaon. Residents from various parts of the district attended the session to present their concerns related to welfare schemes and administrative services.
The CEO directed concerned departmental officials to ensure prompt and priority-based disposal of all applications received during the hearing. She emphasized that eligible beneficiaries should be provided benefits under various government schemes in accordance with established rules and procedures.

During the session, several applications were submitted regarding assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Aadhaar card updates, correction of online records, and access to other welfare programs. Officials were instructed to review the applications carefully and facilitate benefits for deserving applicants without delay.
Singh also stressed that resolving public grievances effectively is essential to strengthening trust between citizens and the administration. She asked officers to coordinate closely with departments to ensure that problems are addressed efficiently and transparently.
Additional Collector C.L. Markandeya and Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, along with other district-level officials, were present during the public hearing.
