Jain Muni Veerbhadra (Virag) Ji, a disciple of Shri Vinay Kushal Muni and known for setting a record of 171 days of fasting, said today that to transform the soul into the Supreme Soul, one must awaken the inner consciousness. “We have been blessed with this life to become immortal, yet we remain engaged in the fear of death,” he said. “If you have the opportunity for self-liberation, do not waste it—strive to awaken your inner consciousness for spiritual progress.”

]Addressing devotees at the Jain Garden Upashray Bhavan, Muni Veerbhadra (Virag) Ji said, “No warrior has ever been greater than the Arihant. They were warriors in every sense—warriors in patience, warriors in forgiveness, warriors in penance, and warriors in charity. If you truly wish to achieve self-liberation, then become warriors in forgiveness and penance.”

Muni Ji further explained, “To attain happiness through righteous conduct, you must learn to battle your own vices. Become truly courageous in the field of penance and self-restraint. Expel your inner faults. The reason our soul is still not happy is because we have failed to renounce our vices. If we look within, we will find that all our suffering stems from worldly attachments. Remove this pain and strive for the path of self-liberation.”

He added, “This life is a precious gift, yet we are not making proper use of it. It is in this very life that we can sow the seed to transform the soul into the Supreme Soul. One must continue to make the right efforts and progress on the path of self-liberation. If we make sincere efforts in this very lifetime, we will surely achieve success.”
