Rajnandgaon district wrapped up the Kharif Marketing Year 2025–26 paddy procurement campaign amid enthusiastic participation from farmers, with over 62.49 lakh quintals purchased from 1.24 lakh registered cultivators, amounting to payments of more than ₹1,483 crore.
Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav reviewed paddy procurement operations with agriculture officials, patwaris, society managers and data operators, directing faster lifting of paddy, strict action against illegal transport by middlemen, and improved storage arrangements at procurement centres. He emphasized resolving AgriStack portal issues related to farmer registration and land record corrections to ensure smooth procurement and timely support to farmers.
Collector Jitendra Yadav held a district-level meeting with millers to streamline registration, resolve technical issues, and strengthen monitoring of paddy lifting through the Satark App and GPS tracking, while continuing strict action against illegal paddy transport.
