The Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar) concluded with widespread public participation and tangible outcomes across Rajnandgaon district. Through grievance redressal camps, welfare benefits, infrastructure announcements, and timely resolution of public issues, the initiative strengthened grassroots democracy and reinforced public confidence in governance and administration.

Farmers under the banner of Pradesh Kisan Sangh staged a one-day protest in Rajnandgaon against fertilizer shortages, alleged black marketing, and cuts in urea and DAP allocations. The protesters submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister, demanding adequate fertilizer supply, payment of pending dues, and higher support prices for paddy procurement.

Collector Jitendra Yadav chaired a comprehensive review meeting of ongoing infrastructure projects in Rajnandgaon district, directing construction agencies and contractors to ensure quality execution and complete roads, bridges, culverts, and building projects within stipulated timelines. He warned of strict action against negligence in road construction works and emphasized the importance of strengthening connectivity to accelerate development.
