As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, schools across Rajnandgaon organized rangoli, drawing, slogan writing, essay, and sports competitions under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. Health camps and nutrition awareness programs were also held to empower adolescent girls.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the Women and Child Development Department is running cyber safety awareness programs across schools in Rajnandgaon. Police cyber experts are educating students, especially girls, about online fraud, digital traps, and safe internet practices.

Rajnandgaon turned festive on August 23 as Mayor and former MP Madhusudan Yadav’s birthday was celebrated as Madhu Mahotsav. From health camps and temple visits to celebrating with elderly and differently-abled citizens, the day reflected the Mayor’s connect with people as thousands gathered to offer greetings.

The 500-seater Prayas Residential School will begin this year in Rajnandgaon’s newly built Education Hub with ₹43.90 lakh sanctioned under the Mukhyamantri Bal Bhavishya Suraksha Yojana. Collector Dr. Bhure inspected the campus and instructed early completion of remaining works.
