Acting on the directives of Collector Jitendra Yadav, authorities in Rajnandgaon have ramped up enforcement against illegal paddy trade. With fresh seizures recorded on November 29, the district has now confiscated over 15,457 quintals of illegal paddy and eight vehicles since the start of the 2025–26 Kharif marketing season.
Zila Panchayat member and Congress leader Mahendra Yadav has alleged that the Collector has orally instructed procurement societies in Dongargaon area to reduce paddy purchase, triggering widespread anger among farmers. Yadav warned that he will take to the streets with farmers if their full produce is not procured.

Collector Jitendra Yadav made a surprise visit to Government Higher Secondary School Saloni, evaluated Class 10 teaching standards, and instructed the school to ensure 100% results with strict monitoring of weekly and monthly academic tests.

To strengthen maternal and child health, Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav personally reached out to a high-risk pregnant woman to ensure timely medical care and support. The district is actively monitoring all high-risk pregnancies through weekly calls and daily home visits by Mitanins.
