The 26th State-Level School Sports Competition 2026 is underway in Rajnandgaon from September 24 to 27, featuring hockey, badminton, yoga and cricket events.

Bastar Pandum 2026 has become a historic celebration of tribal heritage with over 54,000 participants registered across the Bastar division. Showcasing 12 traditional cultural disciplines, indigenous arts, music, dance, cuisine and crafts, the festival highlights Bastar’s rich tribal identity while empowering local artists and youth. In a vibrant and devotional atmosphere, BJP MP Santosh Pandey on Wednesday flagged off a special train carrying 665 pilgrims from 13 districts of Durg and Bastar divisions under the Shri Ramlala Darshan Ayodhya Dham Yojana. The pilgrims departed from Rajnandgaon railway station amid loud chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and traditional drumbeats.
