A block-level free AYUSH medical camp was organised in Kolihapuri village of Dongargarh block, benefiting 518 patients and providing Swarnaprashan to 128 children, along with health screenings and awareness on lifestyle-related diseases.
Under the AYUSH Department’s Osteoarthritis Programme and the Siyan Jatan Clinic scheme, more than 4,000 senior citizens and over 1,200 patients have received effective treatment in Mohla–Manpur–Ambagarh Chowki district, significantly improving rural healthcare outreach.
As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, a district-level Free AYUSH Health Fair and Traditional Cuisine Exhibition will be organized on October 12, 2025 (Sunday) at Mangal Bhavan, Ward No. 3, Motipur, Rajnandgaon. The event aims to promote holistic wellness through Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Naturopathy systems while showcasing India’s nutritious and traditional food culture.
The AYUSH Department organized a free health and awareness camp at Motipur, Rajnandgaon, benefiting 243 patients with medical checkups, medicines, and health consultations. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav inaugurated the event and also planted a sapling under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar unveiled statues of ancient Indian medical pioneers Charaka and Sushruta at Raj Bhavan in Goa, marking a tribute to India's rich scientific heritage. Alongside, he inaugurated the Vaman Vrukshakala Udyan, a garden with 1008 plants symbolizing ecological sustainability and spiritual significance.
