As part of the ongoing Su-ashasan Tihar 2025, a state government initiative aimed at addressing citizens’ problems, providing welfare benefits to eligible beneficiaries, and facilitating direct communication with the public, the second phase is witnessing prompt resolution of applications. During this phase, the Labor Department has been actively issuing labor cards to eligible applicants under the Chhattisgarh Unorganized Workers State Social Security Board.
In Rajnandgaon district, the applications for labor cards have been processed swiftly. Among the recipients of the labor cards were Mrs. Mathura Bai and Mrs. Romin Sahu from Bhavramara village, who had applied under the scheme. The Labor Department conducted thorough document checks and issued the labor cards to the eligible beneficiaries. Similarly, Mrs. Asha Vishwakarma from Baraga village, who had applied for a labor card under the unorganized workers category of the State Social Security Board, was registered as a tailor under the scheme and will be provided with the sewing machine scheme benefit.
Additionally, Mrs. Thakur Ram and Mrs. Chandrakala Rai from Bhotipar Maharajpur village applied as construction workers and were promptly registered under the construction labor category, receiving their labor cards. The applicants were also informed about various schemes run by the Board.
