A two-day stress management workshop was successfully conducted at the Police Training School, Rajnandgaon, as part of a broader refresher course for police personnel ranging from constables to assistant sub-inspectors. The session was chaired by Superintendent of Police (Training) Shri Gajendra Singh, with Life Coach Rohit Telang as the keynote speaker.
Organized to equip police personnel with updated knowledge and coping mechanisms, the workshop focused on the impact of stress on physical and mental health. Life Coach Rohit Telang delivered insightful lectures over two days, highlighting how stress negatively affects one’s life and how it can be managed effectively through Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques.

He explained how repeated stress responses—stemming from unmet expectations, anger, comparisons in social life, and daily pressures—can lead to serious health issues such as high blood pressure, memory loss, anxiety, and depression. Through interactive sessions, Telang emphasized the need to adopt modern mental wellness practices like NLP to lead a stress-free and balanced life.
Rohit Telang further elaborated on how the brain processes information through sensory organs and how this influences emotional responses. Techniques to regulate emotions, break negative thought patterns, and build mental resilience were central to the sessions.
On the final day, SP Gajendra Singh honored Rohit Telang for his valuable contribution. The event was coordinated by CDI Brijesh Bhadauria and Savita Ikka, with active participation from the training school staff and police trainees. Members of Team Meta Mind India, including Govind Yannawar and Bhishma Paswan, were also present during the sessions.
