School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav Inaugurates Newly Built Boxing Ring and Archery Range in Rajnandgaon

State-of-the-art sports facilities to boost training opportunities for young athletes; Minister encourages students to excel in studies and sports

School Education, Village Industries, Law and Legislative Affairs Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed Boxing Ring Set and Archery Range at Dr. Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Rajnandgaon on Tuesday.

During the event, the Minister watched a live boxing match and extended his best wishes to the participating young boxers. He said that the expansion of sports infrastructure across the district will create new opportunities for talented youth to advance to state and national levels.

Modern sports facilities to shape future champions

Shri Yadav said that the newly established boxing ring and archery range will provide:

  • Better-quality professional training
  • A safe and supportive environment
  • A competitive atmosphere for honing talent

He added that such facilities would encourage more students to take up sports seriously and develop discipline, confidence, and strength—qualities essential for holistic development.

Interaction with students and focus on academics

The Minister also interacted with school students and inquired about their studies, teaching arrangements, and learning environment. He encouraged them to study diligently and make the best use of both academic and sports opportunities provided by the school.
