The Chhattisgarh Housing Board has commenced registration for newly constructed residential units under the Atal Vihar Yojana at Asha Nagar in Rajnandgaon city. The fully developed residential colony is strategically located just 300 meters from the Rewadih National Highway (GE Road) and approximately 700 meters from the Maa Patal Bhairavi Temple. The New Bus Stand is about 2.5 km away, while the Railway Station is located at a distance of 3.5 km.
The colony has been developed with modern amenities including a children’s playground, landscaped garden, stilt parking, lift facilities, wide internal roads, boundary wall, CCTV surveillance, and a guard room to ensure safety and convenience for residents.
Spread across 1.57 acres of land, the project includes housing units for different income groups:
- 32 MIG (Middle Income Group) units
- 48 LIG (Low Income Group) units
- 16 EWS (Economically Weaker Section) units

MIG (2-BHK):
Each unit has a built-up area of 800.32 sq. ft. and is priced at ₹22.30 lakh. Registration can be done with an initial amount of ₹2.30 lakh. The layout includes two 11×12 ft bedrooms (one with attached balcony), a 12×18 ft hall, an 8×10 ft kitchen, and two toilets (one attached and one common).

LIG (2-BHK):
These units have a built-up area of 622.24 sq. ft. and are priced at ₹17.40 lakh. Beneficiaries in the ₹3–6 lakh annual income category can register with an initial deposit of ₹50,000. The design includes two 10×11 ft bedrooms with balcony attachment, a 10×15 ft hall, a 7×8 ft kitchen with attached wash area, and toilet-bath facilities.
EWS (1-BHK):
With a built-up area of 405 sq. ft., these units are priced at ₹9.50 lakh. Beneficiaries with an annual income below ₹3 lakh can register with just ₹25,000. The layout includes a bedroom with attached balcony, a hall, kitchen with wash area, and toilet-bath facility.
